About the estate

The Castello di Selvole estate is situated in the hills of Chianti Classico in Tuscany and looks back on a medieval history. The property was acquired in 1999 by Guido and Nobuko Busetto, who both studied at the Enology Institute of the University of Bordeaux in France. Across 16 hectares of vineyards, grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon are cultivated. The winery produces approximately 80,000 bottles of wine per year while placing a strong focus on sustainability and biodiversity.

The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
