About the estate

The Castel Serranova Vallone Winery estate looks back on a historical ownership tradition that began in 1382 and included figures such as the Prince of Taranto and the Countess of Lecce. The wines of the estate reflect the combination of historical roots and innovative winemaking techniques. At the heart of the property in Carovigno lies Vigna Castello, a vineyard enclosed by dry stone walls within a nature reserve. This site provides the Negroamaro and Susumaniello grape varieties used to produce the estate cru. Maturation takes place in French oak tonneaux.
