About the estate

The Swiss winery Casanova Wein Pur AG has been managed by Marco Casanova and his team since 2014. Spanning 4.2 hectares of vineyards in Walenstadt, Zizers, and Malans, the grapes grow on parcels farmed according to biodynamic principles with Demeter certification since 2018. The avoidance of chemical-synthetic pesticides and artificial fertilizers, alongside a vital soil life, characterizes the close-to-nature approach in the vineyard. Marco Casanova incorporates his many years of experience in viticulture and gastronomy into the production of the wines. The cultivation in the region's vineyards is carried out with the support of additional team members.
