About the estate
The Caputo 1890 winery looks back on a history in the heart of the Campania region that began in 1890. Now managed in its fourth generation, the estate is dedicated to preserving regional identity through the cultivation of native grape varieties. The portfolio includes traditional wines made from grapes such as Asprinio di Aversa, Fiano, Greco, Aglianico, and Casavecchia. Vinification takes place partly in historic tuff caves, where traditional production methods are maintained. With the integration of Tenuta Selvanova, the traditional wine estate now encompasses a total vineyard area of 50 hectares.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Casavecchia and Aglianico.
