About the estate
The Capanna estate was founded by Giuseppe Cencioni alongside his sons in the Montosoli area north of Montalcino, and the founder was among the initial members of the local wine consortium. Today, the winery is managed as a family business by Patrizio and Amedeo representing the third and fourth generations. The estate spans 25 hectares of vineyards, all located within a two-kilometer radius of the cellar in the Montosoli zone. Production focuses on the traditional appellations of the territory, including Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Rosso di Montalcino DOC, Moscadello di Montalcino DOC, Sant'Antimo DOC, and Toscana IGT.
The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Merlot and Sangiovese.
