About the estate
The family-run Cantina Monchieri estate was founded in 2008 by Gian Mario Monchieri and his wife Silvia in Valle Camonica. The winery was established to contribute to the recovery and enhancement of a traditional wine-growing area at the foot of the Concarena. The estate cultivates the grape varieties Merlot, Marzemino, and Chardonnay across approximately three hectares of vineyards. The modern, nearly subterranean cellar is designed for energy independence and utilizes local raw materials. The vinification process combines traditional methods with innovative techniques.
