About the estate
The Cantina il colle tinto was formally established in 2017 with the objective of valorising the native Tintilia vine in the historic Sannio region. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 700 metres on clay, limestone, and sandy soils in Castropignano. The dry and breezy microclimate, combined with a low yield per hectare, promotes the cultivation of healthy grapes. Vineyard management and harvesting are carried out exclusively by hand. The portfolio includes wines under the Tintilia del Molise DOC, Molise DOC, and Malvasia del Molise DOC denominations.
