About the estate
The Cantina Bulzaga winery was established in 2009 in the hills of Brisighella in Emilia-Romagna and is operated as a family business. On six hectares of vineyards featuring clay soils and a western exposure, the estate cultivates indigenous and traditional grape varieties such as Malvasia, Famoso, Ciliegiolo, Centesimino, and Uva Longanesi. Farming is conducted according to organic agricultural practices with certification covering all products. In addition to winemaking, agricultural activities at the Tenuta Rio Bazzano include the cultivation of olives, grains, and fruit.
The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Sangiovese and Centesimino. The estate sells to horeca.
