About the estate

The Cantina alla Maggia estate cultivates agricultural land and vineyards on the delta of the Maggia river in Ascona. The history of the property dates back to 1930, with Emil Bührle acquiring the Tenuta Terreni alla Maggia in 1942. Across a vineyard area of 11.5 hectares, the estate produces wines with the Ticino DOC designation. The winery places great emphasis on sustainable operations and the preservation of the local microclimate and biodiversity.
