The Canalicchio di Sopra estate was founded in 1962 by Primo Pacenti in Montalcino in Tuscany and is managed today by his family across subsequent generations. The vineyards cover an area of 19 hectares, situated within the Canalicchio and Montosoli cru sites. The winery focuses exclusively on cultivating Sangiovese to produce distinct wines including Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and Rosso di Montalcino DOC. The production approach combines environmental conservation and microclimate awareness with meticulous work in the vineyard and cellar. The wines are distributed in Italy and around the world.
