About the estate
The Calì Paolo winery is located in Vittoria, Sicily, and is led by winemaker and pharmacist Paolo Calì, reviving a centuries-old family tradition. The vineyards are cultivated on marine sandy soils shaped by wind and rain, benefiting from significant temperature variations. The estate exclusively grows native Sicilian grape varieties such as Frappato, Nero d'Avola, and Grillo. Vineyard management involves meticulous manual work on each individual vine to ensure healthy and balanced plants. In the cellar, operations are conducted in coordination with oenologist Emiliano Falsini with minimal intervention to preserve the integrity and territorial identity of the wines.
