About the estate

Located in Maienfeld in German-speaking Switzerland, the Büsch-Weine estate is managed by Helen Herger and Luzius Büsch, who took over the winery in 1996. Across a vineyard area of 2.3 hectares, the traditional enterprise cultivates various grape varieties benefiting from the local climate and calcareous soils. The portfolio includes white wines such as Riesling-Silvaner, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Blauburgunder-Federweiss, alongside red wines like Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir Barrique, and Dornfelder. Vineyard management and winemaking in the estate's own cellar are carried out with the assistance of friends and partners. In addition to viticulture, the farm also includes agriculture with animals such as ewes, llamas, and chickens.
