About the estate

The quality-oriented family estate Weinbau Burger combines traditional values with modern approaches in the Wagram wine region east of Krems an der Donau. The winery relies on integrated production, sustainability, targeted foliage management, and gentle soil cultivation, ranking among the first certified sustainable wine producers in Austria. The deep loess soils provide optimal conditions for grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Zweigelt, Pinot Blanc, and Riesling. In the cellar, the grapes undergo gentle processing using modern cellar technology, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and aging on the fine lees.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
