About the estate
The Borratella estate is located in the heart of Chianti in Gaiole in Chianti, Tuscany, and is surrounded by five hectares of vineyards, two hectares of olive groves, and extensive forests. The vineyards lie at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level, with Sangiovese being the main grape variety cultivated, complemented by Cabernet and Merlot. In the estate's own cellar, equipped with modern technologies, around 300 quintals of grapes are processed into approximately 200 hectoliters of wine. The production is dedicated to bottling Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, and IGT Super Tuscan wines.

Deep ruby red colour with violet shade, with the ageing almost garnet red. Rich and penetrating smell, spicy and floral, well balanced by red berry fruits. To taste immediately full and full-bodied, never aggressive, final dry savoury and persistent.
