About the estate
The Bohnenstingl winery, located in Breitenbrunn near Lake Neusiedl, is operated as a family business and was taken over by the current owners in 1996. The approximately 4.5 hectares of vineyards are situated on the southern slopes of the Leitha Mountains. The white wine portfolio includes Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, and Neuburger, while red wine accounts for about two-thirds of the total area with varieties such as Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir. Through intensive manual labor in the vineyard and modern cellar technology, which includes a climate-controlled wine storage facility and the maturation of selected wines in French barrique barrels, a continuous increase in quality is pursued.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Welschriesling and Muskat Ottonel.
