About the estate
Founded by Víctor Martínez in Gumiel de Izán, the Bodegas Vinum Vitae, S.L. estate cultivates 2.5 hectares of vineyards within the Ribera del Duero DO denomination. The old Tempranillo vines, in some cases over 100 years old, are situated on plots at altitudes of up to 900 meters. The entire artisan production process is carried out manually, from traditional hand-harvesting to aging in ten French oak barrels in the estate's cellar. Annual production is limited to around 3,500 bottles of an exclusive red wine. Alongside distribution in Spain, the winery exports to countries such as Switzerland and Brazil.
