About the estate
Established in 1999 in Langa del Duero within the Ribera del Duero DO denomination, the Bodegas Valdeviñas, S.L. winery was created by a group of companies associated with agriculture and ecology around the long-standing S.A. MIRAT. The estate combines tradition and technology, adhering to Bordeaux winemaking methods to distinguish itself within the region. Production methods feature double manual grape selection, small-capacity harvest boxes, and careful monitoring of each vineyard plot. Following extended maceration, fermentation and aging take place in new French oak barrels under controlled cellar conditions. The final aging process concludes with the bottles resting for several years before release.
