About the estate
The Bodegas Pincerna winery in the León DO denomination is rooted in a family tradition of viticulture and was created through the partnership of several individuals with a shared passion. The project is built upon the historic foundation of the former Villacezán cellar in Gordoncillo and recently expanded to include the Espinosa winery in Grajal de Campos. The estate focuses on the preservation and recovery of old, organically farmed vineyards with vines aged up to over a century. Cultivated grape varieties include Prieto Picudo, Mencía, Tempranillo, and Albarín Blanco, thriving on diverse soil types at altitudes around eight hundred meters. Winemaking relies on minimal intervention methods to genuinely reflect the distinct characteristics of the land in every bottle.
