About the estate
The family-owned Bodegas Bohórquez, S.L. winery was established in 1999 by Javier Bohórquez Crespi de Valldaura in the Ribera del Duero region. The estate farms 21 hectares of its own vineyards situated on the plateau of Pesquera de Duero at an altitude of 920 meters, featuring limestone and stony soils. In 2023, the estate expanded by acquiring ten hectares of old Palomino vineyards with albariza soils in the pago of Añina within the Marco de Jerez. Production includes wines from the Ribera del Duero DO, Rueda DO, and Jerez-Xérès-Sherry DO denominations. The winemaking focus centers on producing fine, complex, elegant, and mineral wines.
