About the estate
Located in Nava del Rey within the Rueda DO denomination, the Bodega Valdehermoso estate is currently managed by David Aguado as a continuation of a family project. The winery builds upon a historical tradition that began over a century ago with the production of oxidative wines. Following the destruction of the historic vineyards by phylloxera, new plantings were established in the very same areas at the beginning of the twenty-first century. The production focuses on the Verdejo grape variety, combining modern techniques such as lees aging and maturation in various types of oak barrels.
