Bodega Tomás Postigo

About the estate

Located in Peñafiel in Castilla y León, the Bodega Tomás Postigo winery is managed by the founder's four sons. The estate farms 23 hectares of its own vineyards planted with Tinto Fino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec, while additional grapes are sourced from long-standing partner winegrowers. The majority of the vineyards are situated at altitudes above 900 meters and are farmed organically without herbicides. For the white wines, Verdejo is sourced from old, ungrafted vines in the Nieva area of Segovia. Cultivation takes place on acidic soils with a high pebble and siliceous component.
