About the estate
The Bodega Aiurri estate was founded in 2020 in Leza within the Rioja Alavesa region, producing terroir-driven wines under the Rioja DOCa denomination. The vineyards comprise a mosaic of small old-vine plots with high clonal biodiversity situated at the foot of the Toloño mountain range. Due to the terraced slopes and the protected topography, the vines benefit from a distinct microclimate shaped by both Atlantic and continental influences. In the cellar, vinification is carried out on a plot-by-plot basis utilizing spontaneous fermentations alongside gentle extraction and controlled temperatures. The aging process involves various vessels including foudres, wooden vats, concrete tanks, stainless steel tanks, and French oak barrels.
