About the estate

The Bertram Isele estate in Vogtsburg im Kaiserstuhl-Achkarren has been run as a family business for many generations. As one of the first winemakers in Germany, the winery has cultivated its vineyards according to biodynamic Demeter guidelines since 1973. The sunny Kaiserstuhl region, with its volcanic as well as loess and loam soils, provides ideal conditions for viticulture. The portfolio includes classic grape varieties such as Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, and Pinot Noir, alongside various PIWI varieties. The range is complemented by sparkling wines and rosé wines.
