About the estate
The Berger estate is located in Donnerskirchen at the foot of the Leithaberg in the Leithaberg region of northern Burgenland. The vineyards are characterized by shell limestone and slate, and they benefit from the climate around Lake Neusiedl, which is favored by numerous sunny days. The winery relies on careful manual harvesting of the grapes as well as processing based on modern principles with the goal of achieving the highest quality from the vineyard to the bottle. During vinification, aging takes place in stainless steel tanks, large wooden barrels, or small oak barriques, depending on the wine style. The portfolio includes wines with the Leithaberg DAC designation.
