About the estate
The Swiss winery Beat Wanner cultivates about 0.28 hectares of vineyards in Etzelkofen in the canton of Bern and at Lake Biel. The beginnings of viticulture date back to 1984, when the first vines were planted in Brunnenthal. Later, the winemaker acquired vineyard land in Wingreis on Lake Biel together with a partner and built a new wine cellar. The portfolio includes Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chasselas, among other varieties. The wines are marketed under the AOC Bern and AOC Bielersee denominations.
