About the estate

The Fattoria dei Barbi estate in Montalcino looks back on a long history, with the Colombini family connected to the region for centuries. The property covers three hundred and fifty hectares of fields and vineyards in southern Tuscany, spanning areas such as Montalcino, Scansano, and Chianti. Since the late nineteenth century, the winery has produced wine and was among the pioneers in exporting to other continents. Today, the estate is managed by Stefano Cinelli Colombini, who continues the long-standing culture and values of the territory.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Sangiovese and Ciliegiolo. Export markets include United Kingdom.
