About the estate

The Azienda Vitivinicola Boscherina is a family-run estate in Ticino whose history began in 1982 with the planting of the first Merlot vines in Novazzano. Founded by Rudy Studer, the winery is now managed by his son Simone. The vineyards are spread across different sites in Novazzano, San Pietro di Stabio, Salorino, Vacallo, and Tremona, where varieties such as Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, and Souvignier gris are cultivated. The estate follows integrated production guidelines with a strong focus on natural balance and biodiversity. The resulting wines reflect the diversity of the regional terroirs under the Ticino DOC designation.
