About the estate

The Tenuta San Giaime di Alessio Gaetano Cicco estate was founded in 2006 and is located in Gangi in the Madonie mountains of the Sicilian hinterland. Across seven hectares of vineyards, the winery cultivates grape varieties including Syrah, Grillo, Pinot Noir, Nerello Mascalese, Moscato, Perricone, and Carricante. Farming is conducted under certified organic agricultural practices in harmony with natural cycles. In the cellar, human intervention is kept to a minimum through spontaneous fermentations without filtration or fining. The estate is also an active member of the Slow Food Convivium and the Movimento Turismo del Vino.
