About the estate

The Alsace Habsiger estate is a family-run winery located in the centre of Gertwiller, established in 1967 by Paul and Simone Habsiger and joined by their son Alain in 1992. The nine hectares of vineyards are spread across five neighbouring communes, allowing for geological diversity through reasoned agriculture practices. The winery focuses on producing predominantly dry wines that let the grape varieties express their character. Winemaking takes place at the historic property, whose core dates back to 1733 and was gradually converted from a mixed-farming operation into a modern cellar.
