About the estate

The Tenuta Gorghi Tondi S.A.S. estate was founded in 2000 by Michele Sala and Doretta Tumbarello and is located in the heart of the nature reserves in Sicily. The roots of the family business trace back to the early 20th century when the great-grandmother acquired the current vineyards. Spanning 130 hectares of vineyards, the estate produces organic wines with a primary focus on the Grillo grape variety. Alongside native varieties such as Nero d'Avola, the portfolio includes international grapes, various sparkling wines, and the rare botrytized wine Grillodoro. The wines are distributed under the Marsala DOC and Sicilia DOC denominations.

The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Nero d'Avola and Grillo. The estate sells to importers, horeca and retail.
