About the estate

The Aichinger estate in Schönberg cultivates twelve hectares of vineyards on loess and primary rock terraces in the Kamptal region. The traditional winery produces grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, and Zweigelt. Farming is conducted close to nature with a strong focus on soil conservation and humus accumulation. Distinctive wines originate from sites such as Ried Renner, Ried Kalvarienberg, Ried Rosenberg, and Ried Oberalbing. Today, the winery is managed by the Aichinger family, continuing a multi-generational winemaking tradition.

The eno directory lists 20 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The estate sells to horeca and retail. Export markets include Netherlands, Switzerland and Czechia.
