Zöchmann

About the estate

The Zöchmann estate is managed according to organic guidelines by Reinhard and Kathrin Zöchmann in Roseldorf within the Weinviertel region. A broad spectrum of grape varieties thrives on soils ranging from loess to primary rock at the foothills of the Manhartsberg, including Grüner Veltliner, Gemischter Satz, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Blütenmuskateller, and Zweigelt. The single-vineyard wines grow in the Berg and Sandberg sites. The area is characterized by a comparatively cool continental climate alongside dry, hot summer days and cool nights during the ripening period.
