Zisola

About the estate

The Zisola estate is situated in south-eastern Sicily near Noto and was founded in 2003 by the Mazzei family. Out of 50 hectares of total property, 24 hectares are planted with vineyards at an altitude ranging from 90 to 130 meters above sea level. The vines are entirely cultivated using the traditional bush-training method at a density of 5500 plants per hectare. The grape varieties grown on the estate include the red varieties Nero d'Avola, Syrah, and Petit Verdot, alongside the white varieties Grillo and Catarratto. The winery produces a total of seven wines released under the Sicilia DOC denomination.
