About the estate
The Wutzl estate is based in Gobelsburg in the Kamptal region and is run as a family business in the fourth generation. The history began at the beginning of the 20th century as a mixed agricultural operation before viticulture gradually became the primary focus. Under subsequent generations, the winery was continuously modernised and expanded to around 17 hectares of vineyards through the acquisition of renowned vineyard sites. Today, a combination of cross-generational winemaking experience and new ideas shapes the profile of the estate, where young winemaker Franz-Josef has also joined the operation.
