About the estate

The Wöhrwag estate farms approximately 20 hectares of vineyards in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim. At the center of the operation is the monopoly site Untertürkheimer Herzogenberg, which is characterized by gypsum-keuper soils. Sustainable viticulture, patience for fully ripened harvest material, and respect for artisanal processing form the basis for the characteristic style of the wines. In the cellar, meticulous attention is paid to ensuring that the hand-harvested grapes retain their quality. The classification of the wines follows the VDP classification system.

The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Riesling and Schiava. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
