The Winzerkeller Hex vom Dasenstein eG estate is located in Kappelrodeck and looks back on a traditional history dating back to a legend from the year 1356 and a noble maiden once living there. The sun-drenched vineyards benefit from a mild climate originating in the Mediterranean region, fertile granite weathering soils, and cool nights at the foot of the Hornisgrinde. A dedicated team consisting of management, winegrower families, and cellar technicians cultivates the vineyards with great passion and care to harvest top-quality grapes for characterful wines. Vinification and aging are carried out with particular care, and every red wine matures for a considerable time in large wooden barrels. The portfolio includes Pinot varieties as well as other typical regional wines appreciated far beyond the borders of the Ortenau.
