About the estate
The traditional Winzerhof Zach estate has been dedicated to viticulture at the entrance of the Kamptal in Hadersdorf-Kammern since 1770. Since 1998, the winery has been managed by Barbara and Walter Zach, with their son Michael acting as viticulturist and cellar master. On a vineyard area of 13 hectares, quality wines bearing the Kamptal DAC denomination are produced alongside sparkling wines, Frizzante, and spirits. The portfolio includes grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Zweigelt, and Merlot. Vinification relies on a combination of multi-generational expertise and modern cellar technology.
The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Zweigelt. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany.
