About the estate

The Winzerhof-Café Schlipp-Rohrbach estate is located in Herxheim am Berg in the heart of the Palatinate and cultivates seventeen hectares of vineyards in regions such as Bad Dürkheim, Kallstadt, and Herxheim. The family has farmed vineyards in top sites such as the Herxheimer Honigsack and Herxheimer Himmelreich for generations on limestone-rich, mineral soils. In the vineyard, rigorous thinning ensures healthy and aromatic grapes, which are then vinified in the cellar using modern technology and stainless steel tanks. White wines undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, while red wines are traditionally fermented on the skins. In addition to winemaking, the family project includes a wine estate café and direct sales from the winery as well as through delivery tours.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from St. Laurent and Pinot Blanc.
