About the estate
The Wijngoed Wolf estate is located on historic grounds in Sint-Michielsgestel on a centuries-old, south-facing plot featuring soils of humus, loam, and various types of sand. The winery cultivates a mix of classic grape varieties such as Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris alongside newer fungus-resistant varieties including Johanitter, Souvignier Gris, Sauvignac, and Cabernet Blanc. Farming is conducted organically with a strong focus on healthy vines, selective harvesting, and spontaneous fermentation using self-prepared yeast starters. Part of the wines undergoes oak maturation to achieve additional depth. In addition to winemaking, the property offers sustainably converted guest accommodations overlooking the vineyards.
