The WEINWERK die Weinmanufaktur estate is based in Bad Kissingen, while its vineyards are located in Hammelburg, the oldest wine town in Franconia. The steep and very steep sites characterized by shell limestone form the basis for wines that are harvested by hand. The portfolio includes Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Bacchus, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and red wines such as Domina and Pinot Noir. Vinification takes place in a winery in Bad Kissingen and in the historic vaulted cellar of the Rotes Schloss in Hammelburg using stainless steel tanks and oak barrels.
