About the estate

The Willems & Hofmann winery was established in 2006 through the merger of two parental estates from Rheinhessen and the Saar region. Carolin and Jürgen Hofmann run the business from Appenheim, which is also home to the modern building housing the cellar and vinotheque. As a member of the organic viticulture association, the estate operates according to ecological guidelines with a largely closed production cycle. The work entirely avoids artificial fertilizers and chemical-synthetic substances to promote healthy soils and vines. The goal is to produce individual wines with a diverse character and high quality.
