About the estate
The Weingut Weis GbR estate is located in Zell on the Mosel and looks back on a three-hundred-year family tradition. The business is run by father and son, Peter and Matthias Weis, and cultivates a vineyard area of twelve hectares. The vineyards are situated in steep locations featuring weathered grey slate soils and hard greywacke. Alongside traditional viticulture, all vineyard work is done by hand, and sustainable, fungus-resistant grape varieties are also cultivated. The portfolio includes wines from the Mosel region and the Zeller Schwarze Katz denomination.
