About the estate

Located in the historic old town of Hochheim am Main, the Weingut & Straußwirtschaft Bunk-Hirschmann estate is run in its third generation as a part-time operation by the siblings Beate and Peter Bunk-Hirschmann. On a total cultivation area of approximately three hectares, the winery cultivates 80 percent Riesling and 20 percent Pinot Noir in the vineyards Hölle, Hofmeister, Kirchenstück, Reichestal, and Stein. In addition to wines, the portfolio also includes two sparkling wines, specifically a Riesling sparkling wine from the Hölle vineyard and a Pinot Noir Weissherbst from the Stein vineyard. The operations are divided between the siblings, with Peter managing the vineyards and cellar work while Beate is responsible for marketing and the kitchen of the Straußwirtschaft.
