About the estate

The Weingut und Gästehaus Gerd Faber estate is managed in the next generation by Jochen Faber, who took over the winery on the Moselle from his father in 2017. The vineyards are located in the steep slate sites around Erden on the Middle Moselle and are characterized by manual labor and a natural cycle. The portfolio includes Riesling as well as red wines such as Dornfelder, which impress with freshness, fruit, and elegance. Jochen and Sabine Faber run the family estate together with a strong focus on sustainability and the avoidance of chemical fertilizers. The wines are produced through careful manual harvesting, gentle processing, and personal aging in the cellar.

The eno directory lists 20 wines, mostly from Riesling and Müller-Thurgau. The estate sells to retail.
