About the estate

Based in Welgesheim, the Schnorrenberger estate is a traditional mixed farm that has cultivated grain and sugar beets alongside wine for generations. In the vineyard, tasks such as pruning, soil management, cover cropping, canopy management, and sparing crop protection lay the foundation for healthy grapes. In the cellar, the winery employs gentle pressing, temperature-controlled fermentation, and maturation in wooden barrels to develop natural aromas. The guiding principle in the cellar is to give the wines ample time to mature and unfold their character.
