The Weingut Schmachtenberger estate is a winemaking family rooted in Franconia for generations, cultivating wines in Randersacker since the 1950s. Today, the winery is managed by Karin and Alfred as well as Christine and Holger Schmachtenberger. Across seven hectares of vineyards located at Marsberg, Ewig Leben, Sonnenstuhl, Pfülben, and Teufelskeller, nine white and seven red grape varieties such as Silvaner, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Merlot are grown. In addition to wine, the portfolio includes sparkling wine and brandies.
