About the estate

The Roth winery in Abstatt looks back on a history dating back to 1867 and cultivates vineyards in sites such as Rote Steige, Sommerberg, and Kautenwald. The vineyards are situated at altitudes between 210 and 375 meters above sea level on soils including marl, reed sandstone, and gypsum keuper. The grape variety portfolio is divided into 65 percent white and 35 percent red varieties, featuring Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Trollinger, and Lemberger. Vinification and aging of the wines take place in stainless steel and wood. The estate combines traditional and sustainable working methods with modern technology.
