About the estate
The Pola estate, belonging to the von Sprecher family, is located at Städtliplatz in the historic center of Maienfeld in German-speaking Switzerland. The winery looks back on an eventful and long history, with the family cultivating wine for over five hundred years. The name Pola translates to slope or hillside and refers to the vineyard above the small town, which is accessed through an old stone gate. In addition to winemaking, the offerings for visitors include tastings and library tours at the Sprecherhaus.
