About the estate
The Weingut Pircher estate in Eglisau was established in 1956 by Rita and Joseph Pircher and looks back on a long history, with viticulture in the Hinterer Stadtberg first documented in 891. In 1988, Urs Pircher took over the winery from his parents before Gianmarco Ofner took over the estate from his godfather in 2022. Following a two-year transition phase, the winery has been Bio Suisse certified since 2024. The portfolio includes wines such as Riesling, which has been cultivated in Eglisau since 2013, as well as Pinot Gris.
