About the estate
The Weingut Ottmar und Christian Escher estate located in Schwaikheim in the Württemberg wine region cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards. The foundation for today's family-run business was laid in 1968 by Meta and Otto Escher when they planted the first vines. In 1990, the operation shifted its focus entirely to quality-oriented bottled wines under the guidance of Lisa and Ottmar Escher. Today, Christian Escher represents the third generation managing the estate, contributing international experience gained in various wine regions. Considerable manual labor is applied in the vineyard to vinify characterful wines.
